These Simple Zafu covers are created in a fair-trade environment in Otavalo, Ecuador. Each piece is the result of an elaborate process by artisans combining hand painting, hand dying, and wax resistant batik.
The removable cover is made using remnant cotton textiles from the artisan factory. Its interior liner is made from a blend of Hemp & Certified Organic Cotton—the hemp is grown as a companion plant without the use of herbicides or pesticides by small cooperatives of family farms and processed in a closed-loop facility.
Filled with Organic Buckwheat Hulls, an agricultural byproduct.
